By using taxi.je you agree to these terms.
The directory
- taxi.je is a directory. We don't provide transport, take bookings or handle payments. Any booking is between you and the firm, on that firm's terms.
- We try to keep listings accurate, but prices, hours, fleet sizes and ratings change, and we can't guarantee them. Check with the firm before you travel.
- Fare estimates are a rough guide worked out from the published tariff and the road distance. The taxi's meter, or the price the firm quotes, is what you pay.
- Ratings from Google and other sites belong to those sites. We show the figure and the date we checked it, and link to the reviews.
- We're not responsible for the service any firm provides. Complaints about a taxi or cab go to the firm first, then to Driver and Vehicle Standards at the Government of Jersey.
Listings
Basic listings are free. We can decline, edit or remove a listing, for example if a firm stops trading or a detail can't be confirmed. Firms can ask us to correct or remove their listing at any time.
Advertising
- Featured listings and banners are booked by the week and paid in advance. Prices are on the advertising page.
- Paid placements are marked "Featured" or "Advert".
- We can refuse an advert, for example if it's misleading, unlawful, or not about transport, travel or things to do in Jersey.
- If we can't run a paid placement for reasons on our side, we'll extend it or refund the unused weeks.
- Advertisers confirm they have the right to use the words, logos and pictures they send us.
Content
The text, design and share pictures on taxi.je are ours. Business names and logos belong to their owners. You may link to any page.
Liability
We provide the site as it is. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for any loss from using it or from relying on a listing. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of Jersey, and the courts of Jersey deal with any dispute.
