The Government of Jersey sets the most a taxi can charge. By day it's £4.15 for the first 1/10 mile, then 31p per 1/10 mile (£3.10 a mile).
Jersey Airport
The taxi rank is in front of Arrivals. It's 4.9 miles to St Helier, about 14 minutes: roughly £18 to £21 on the meter in the day.
Ferries and cruise ships
Ferries use the Elizabeth Terminal in St Helier. Cruise passengers come ashore by tender at the Albert Pier.
Taxi or bus?
LibertyBus covers the whole island in the day. Taxis are the way home after the last bus and the easier option with luggage.
