Taxi ranks in Jersey
You can take a taxi from a public rank or hail one with its roof sign lit. Rank taxis charge the meter.

Airport and harbour

There are no ranks at the beaches or in the country parishes. Outside St Helier, call a firm or book through an app. All firms are on the front page.
Rank taxis and booked cabs
Only licensed taxis can wait at ranks. Chauffeur and limousine cars must be booked ahead and can't use ranks or be hailed. When a cab firm's car picks you up from a rank or is hailed, it charges the rank fare on the meter.
