Eating out in Jersey
Jersey's restaurants are spread around the coast. Outside St Helier there are no taxi ranks, so book your ride home when you book your table.
St Helier
The island's widest choice of restaurants, bars and pubs. Late at night, the ranks at the Weighbridge, Snow Hill and the Parade, and the night rank on Beresford Street (6pm to 6am), are the places to find a taxi.
- Bohemia: modern European, Jersey's Michelin-starred restaurant, Green Street
- Samphire: seasonal cooking, bar and terrace, Don Street
- Tassili (Grand Jersey Hotel): fine dining on the seafront
- Longueville Manor: country house hotel in St Saviour, about 10 minutes out of town
St Aubin
A harbour village at the west end of St Aubin's Bay, with restaurants and pubs around the quay. Book the taxi back to town before you go out on a Friday or Saturday.
- enotèca: small Italian, fresh pasta
- The Boat House / Anchor Bar & Grill: harbourside bar and grill
- The Old Court House Inn: pub and seafood by the harbour
- Mark Jordan at the Beach: modern British on the bay at Beaumont, between St Helier and St Aubin
St Brelade's Bay
Beach restaurants along the south coast's busiest bay. On summer evenings taxis are in demand here, so book your return.
- Oyster Box: fish and seafood on the beach
- Jersey Crab Shack: casual seafood
Gorey
Restaurants on the pier and the hill below Mont Orgueil Castle, about 15 minutes from St Helier.
- Bass and Lobster: local seafood
- Sumas: local shellfish, terrace over the harbour
- The Moorings: hotel restaurant on the pier
West coast
Beach cafés and restaurants along the Five Mile Road and at Corbière. There are few buildings in between and no rank, so arrange both legs of the trip.
- Ocean Restaurant (The Atlantic Hotel): fine dining above St Ouen's Bay
- Corbière Phare: clifftop restaurant by the lighthouse
- El Tico Beach Cantina: beach café-restaurant on St Ouen's Bay
- Faulkner Fisheries: fresh and barbecued fish, summer lunchtimes
East and north coasts
Beach and harbour spots that pair well with a walk, ending with a taxi home.
- Green Island Restaurant: seafood on Green Island beach, St Clement, closed Monday and Tuesday
- Moulin de Lecq: pub at Grève de Lecq, at the end of north-coast cliff walks
